Monday, May 4th, began the implementation of Governor DeSantis' "Safe, Smart, Step by Step Plan" for Florida's Recovery. Among other things, this plan allows the resuming of many local businesses, including dine-in restaurants. More details can be found below and on Our St. Lucie, a free, digital resource created for St. Lucie County residents and businesses to share information during this time of global crisis.

Our list of local restaurants has been updated to reflect new, local guidelines and offerings. Restaurants may provide services as follows:

• Outdoor seating with 6 FT social distancing;
• Indoor seating at 25% capacity with 6 FT social distancing

• Maintain school closures
• Elective surgeries may resume
• Large venues to remain closed
• Restaurants may provide services as follows: Outdoor seating with 6 ft. social distancing; Indoor seating at 25% capacity with 6 ft. social distancing
• Bars to remain closed
• Fitness centers to remain closed
• Personal services to remain closed but may continue curbside services for product sales
• Retail establishments may open at 25% indoor capacity
• Essential services and activities listing remain in effect
